Meet our 2022 MitoSpin Sponsors

The MitoCommunity is comprised of brave souls that take on extraordinary challenges every day because they live with mitochondrial disease. MitoCanada seeks out incredible people and partners to support our community. Check out some of our amazing partners and sponsors who are helping us ensure all lives are powered by healthy mitochondria.

Presenting Partner

Messing Ross Advisory Group is the Presenting Partner of the 2022 MitoSpin, MitoCanada’s largest annual fundraising event. When Sean Messing and Colin Ross, Senior Wealth Advisors for CIBC Wood Gundy’s Private Wealth Management division that bears their names, were asked why they chose to provide such a generous gift, the response was delivered with clarity, compassion and kindness –“When there is a friend in need, we answer. We never want another family to feel the hopelessness that comes when there is no one and no where to turn to.”

Founding Partner

MitoSpin was founded by Tri-It Multisport co-owners Richelle Love and Rose Serpico to raise funds for local Calgary athletes’ expenses. Tri-It Multisport is the coolest triathlon and multisport store around! Located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Richelle and Rose are dedicated to bringing joy to peoples lives through sport. Together they put on local races, such as the WildRose Women’s Triathlon or Alberta SwimRun, and can often be found cheering on a race course.

Sponsor & Ride Teams

We asked Lumiio why they chose to Sponsor and Ride at the 2022 MitoSpin. They answered that in addition to wanting to support the MitoCommunity, they know our MitoMotivators are inspiring and that the event is empowering. With a clear understanding of the power of community, Lumiio is much more than a technology company.

When we asked Ken Crockett, a member of the Qualico MitoSpin team why he and Qualico chose to partner with our foundation. His answer came quickly and clearly. “Seeing the enthusiasm and commitment of the team at MitoCanada is a gravitational force that pulled us in and is amping us up.”
