InnoviCares – The innoviCares card is a free prescription savings card available to all Canadian residents, and is funded by participating pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) – Provides financial help to Manitobans who have no other way to support themselves or their families. For people who are able to work, EIA will help them go back to work by providing supports to employment. EIA recipients also get Rent Assist if they need help with their shelter and utility costs.

Children’s disABILITY services – Supports families who are raising a child (or children) with developmental and physical disabilities, to meet some of the additional needs they may have.

Disability and Health Supports Unit – Offers a streamlined, one-stop-shop to help eligible clients access these disability and health-related supports in a consistent, fair and efficient manner (provides additional financial support).

Child Care Subsidy

Manitoba Child Benefit – Provides monthly benefits to lower income Manitobans with dependent children in their care. It also provides parents with additional assistance to help with some of the costs of prescription eyeglasses for their children. Low-income families may be eligible for up to $35.00 per month, per child.

Manitoba Developmental Centre – An accredited residential care facility for adults with an intellectual disability. Its mission is to support residents to achieve independence, optimal health, meaningful activity, personal growth and participation in community life.

Community Living disABILITY Services – Supports eligible adults with intellectual disabilities in Manitoba to live good and satisfying lives in their communities.

Disabilities Issues Office (DIO) – The office is responsible for developing and conducting public education activities to increase awareness about The Accessibility for Manitobans Act.
