Having your donation matched by your employer is an incredible way to amplify your impact, potentially doubling or tripling your contribution.
| 1. | Make a gift or donation to MitoCanada* |
|---|---|
| 2. | Find out if your employer matches donations by checking your employer’s intranet or employee portal, searching online, contacting your HR department or asking your boss. |
| 3. | Get a matching gift application form and follow your employer’s guidelines. If you need to send the matching gift application form to us to complete a section, scan and email it to fundraising@mitocanada.org |
| 4. | Submit your application form and your employer will check that your donation is eligible. |
| 5. | Your employer will send us the matching gift. |
Simple for you and truly life-changing for Canadians affected by mitochondrial disease!
Thank you!
*Be sure the keep proof of your donation and/or volunteer time
Companies usually match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1, 3:1, or even a 4:1 ratio
