Every year, MitoCanada has the privilege of participating in the Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink (BFK) program. Through this generous initiative, donations made to MitoCanada are matched by up to 50%, multiplying the impact of every gift. Together, we help energize and support Canadians living with mitochondrial disease through education, awareness, support, and transformational research.

The 2025 program has now closed. The last day to donate through BFK was August 31st. We are deeply grateful to the many donors who took part this year and amplified their generosity through the matching program. Your support fuels hope and progress for mito patients and families across Canada.
Looking Ahead to 2026
We look forward to launching the 2026 Birdies for Kids matching program next May. Once again, your donations will go further by being matched up to 50%, creating an even greater impact in the mito community.
